Affiliate Commissions

If you send your listeners to sites like eBay and Amazon, you can earn a percentage of the profits from items they buy. If you promote products in your podcast, you can earn commission on sales.

The downside with this is that it does require some technical knowledge.

Put Old Episodes Up for Sale

This is another good idea for people who have been podcasting a while. Keep the most recent podcasts free (to encourage new listeners) but sell the podcasts in your back catalog. Your new listeners - who are already hooked on you - will want to hear what you have done before.

There are a number of options for you to create your own products. Using a service such as CafePress, you can create t-shirts, badges, buttons etc featuring your podcast's logo. This is a great way to tap into the popularity of your podcast.
