The lifeblood of any business is a steady supply of fresh leads. The question is how and where to get them. It used to be that the only way was to buy them from a lead company. This used to pose a problem to Internet marketers as it was quite expensive. Your customer just entered the sales funnel. Now your job is to continue to make him feel comfortable and that he can trust you. Since he/she has already accepted your initial offer, is primed to the pitch. Now it's when you can start marketing to him, via an autoresponder system.
The whole concept here is to bring the customer to the door, lead them in with a low risk or even free offer of some kind, gather all the information and build a relationship. When the customer knows you a little bit better trusts you more, you can begin to market higher level products slowly. The more he trusts you, the better you are in making a sale.
